Illinois Athletic Trainers head to Washington D.C. to fight for healthcare rights of Illinois patients

SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Illinois Athletic Trainers Association (IATA) is urging congress to support legislation that would restore coverage of medical treatment provided by Athletic Trainers. The Athletic Trainers Equal Access to Medicare Act of 2009 (HR 1137) would allow physicians to determine the best possible treatment for their patients and ensure those treatments are covered by the insurance companies.

State Farm Classic kicks off 35th year anniversary in 2010

Springfield, Ill – The year the nation celebrated its Bicentennial, the LPGA State Farm Classic, premiering in 1976 as the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Classic, was played in Springfield, Ill., at The Rail Golf Course. The field consisted of 62 women competing for a $100,000 purse. Sandra Palmer took the first title and the $15,000 that came along with the championship.

T/CCI and QUE Products secure contract to supply parts for Afghanistan military vehicles

DECATUR, IL – October 12, 2009 - T/CCI Manufacturing LLC., and affiliate QUE Products, global leaders in the design, production and distribution of heavy duty air-conditioning compressors, will be supplying units for as many as 6,400 M-ATVs for the United States military in Afghanistan. Through a contract with Red Dot Corp., the companies will supply compressors for HVAC units used in new all-terrain vehicles manufactured by Oshkosh Corporation.
